Coming up with a name for this blog was hard! First of all everything on the internet is already taken. I wanted to name it something that reflects who I am but doesn’t focus on one single aspect of my life since I plan to write about whatever I want. I have no single focus for this blog. I’m not fancy, fashionable or an expert on anything. I just want to write stuff. When I couldn’t come up with a name for my blog I asked my husband for some help.
Me: If you had to describe me in one word, what would be?
Him: Hmmm … Weird?
Me: Seriously?
Him: How about idiosyncratic?
Me: Umm okay.
It is mostly true though. If you don’t know me well you might think I’m quiet and shy. I am that way sometimes, but when I’m home in my comfort zone I can talk your ear off. Sometimes I talk to myself. Sometimes I sing all day long to songs that I completely made up. And some of the things I say and do are a little weird. Here’s proof all the way back from my 7th grade year book (I’m also neat, crazy and funny though):

Although I may march to the beat of my own drum and have one too many cats, I’m not an eccentric old cat lady that hoards things, concocts potions and never leaves the house. I’m an introvert that prefers being home on a Friday night with ample snacks and cats to cuddle with. So there you have it – Potato Chip Cat Party. It’s a little weird, but apparently so am I. 🙂
